Wisdom is higher than knowledge. Knowledge is knowing about what is, when is, how is, where is. Wisdom is higher than this.
Wisdom is the sum of knowledge, experience, practical application, realization and bringing up to the next level of information.
Knowing God is one thing. Experiencing God is another thing. Uniting with God is definitely more. Acting for God, with God and as god is highest of all. Becoming god is becoming a savior, a helper, a comforter and a healer.
Christians as we are are "followers of Christ", where Christ walks we walk, how Christ speaks we speak, what Christ does we do, how Christ thinks we think, what Christ sees we see, and how Christ loves we love, are the things we are called to do and follow as he left us examples to imitate.
Unless we do as Christ did we cannot say we are Christians. Christ never turns another Christian's face nor another's man's face. He condemn evil but show mercy and compassion to the doer. Christ never hated the doer only the action.
Christ examples in the Gospel are the examples of LOVE & COMPASSION, UNDERSTANDING, PATIENCE, FRIENDSHIP, BROTHERHOOD, TOLERANCE, PRAYER AND COMMUNION, SHARING, SACRIFICE AND GIVING ONE'S LIFE FOR A FRIEND.
Becoming member of the Catholic Church does not immediately made man a Christian, it is possible indeed to have Christian even they are not member of the Catholic Church if they live like Christ and follow Christ. Think of it Christ is not Catholic either, Christ is a Jew by virtue of his birth, but being the Savior he transcend religion and belief. For how can he become the Savior of the World and the King of kings if he is not king and savior also of other belief and religion?
