SINNERS NEVER RAN OUT OF ALIBIS

The strange thing I discovered with sinfulness is you never ran out of reasons and alibis. You tend to compare your sins with those whose sins are heavier than yours. In doing that you feel consoled and relieved that you have not committed enough to get noticed and neither deserved heavier penalty. So, in the process, you became judge because you often justified your action or sins by the sinfulness of others. This is not and should not be the case of those in the path of holiness. What one must do is to compare ones present to his previous, on how one get better than his former and how one controls and manages himself now compare to his past.
