Salvation is the ultimate reason of practicing religion
The ultimate reason of practicing religion is SALVATION. What benefits or advantages any man of great biblical knowledge or historical, scientific knowledge can derived from all his efforts if it is not SALVATION he is seeking. A praise and glory before men, accolades for the copious and well functioning brain superior than the rest of the people in exchange of having the taste of salvation.
There are today many FB groups debating endlessly on topics that has been debated million of times over by hundreds and thousands of geniuses, many has gone to their graves and many at the end of their lives, and how nice it is to know that today still many are fighting over the piece of cake, solving and answering that which has been solved and answered. Funny!
Be as it may, people who were born today or yesterday have no full appreciation of the past because when they first opened their eyes they see only the four corners of the birthing room and few people who looks at him wondering and asking "sino kamukha niya sa kanila". So, it is also nice and act of charity to tell and retell the people of the past, of the story of the first people, of the things happened on earth.
This appreciation of the past is one of the keys we can use to unravel our present and look with hope to the future. This we said in tagalog "Ang hindi lumingon sa pinanggalingan ay hindi makararating sa paroroonan!". Mysterious this words may be but it guides us to be a better person.
The story of the blind men and the elephant rings true today, each one believes that his elephant is the true one and the other is not. They each experienced and touched the elephant and each one is correct in saying ABOUT the elephant - but if they just unite and create a picture by combining their experience and encounter with the elephant - they will have a much better and true picture of the poor elephant.
But again, still there are some, who sees the coin inside the room but have not seen the elephant inside. Funny isn't? But that happens to many, and I am no exempted in some cases.
That is why the bible said " of all...GET UNDERSTANDING".
Salvation is the end and should be ultimate reason for attaining biblical knowledge and practicing religion. Salvation in this life, salvation in the next. If knowledge you gained cannot procure salvation then that knowledge is inutile and worthless and total waste of time.
Are sealed servants saved? I said YES. Do sealed servants can save other people? I said YES. Mahal na Ingkong tells us repeatedly, many times over, KAYO ANG SALBABIDA NG INYONG BANSA....SALVA VIDA - Salva means SAVE and VIDA means LIFE... Kayo ang tagapagligtas ng buhay ng inyong bansa...
How can you save others if you yourself are not saved? Be convinced that you sealed servant is SAVED. When you know and believe strongly in your heart that you are SAVED you shall attain and recieve that enormous power and knowledge and conviction which would attract other people to you. And beside ALL PEOPLE LIKES TO BE SAVED....
