With the increasing number of sealed servants detaching themselves from unity with the Church that our Mahal na Ingkong and Beloved Sta Maria Virginia founded and ordained to minister and continue their mission, it is necessary that we shed some light that can illumine our understanding about crucial and fundamental issues.
What is the mission of Mahal na Ingkong?
His mission is to sanctify the people through the Holy Sacraments of the Church, the Apostolic Catholic Church; this is the Church that rightfully claimed the only Church of Mahal na Ingkong and Beloved Sta Maria Virginia. This is the church that officially beatified and declared our beloved Mama Viring as the first Saint of the church and of all the sealed servants all over the world.
His mission is to unite all the Christian Churches specifically the Catholic and Orthodox Churches into one genuine Christian community within its fold by creating venues and bridges. This is what the official logo of the Apostolic Catholic Church signifies - the unity and union of the Eastern Rite and the Western Rite through the instrumentality of His Church, the Apostolic Catholic Church.
The One Holy Catholic Church was divided in the past into Eastern Orthodox and Western Roman Catholicism because of the issue about the 'Procession' of the Holy Spirit. This is popularly known as the 'FILIOQUE' issue. The wound of division was healed and sealed to memory by the solemn act of brotherhood and unity by Pope Paul VI and Patriarch Athenagoras on 7th December 1965. Although, the Vatican II Council decreed the unity of all the Catholic and Orthodox Churches in the spirit of True Christian Ecumenism[for all baptized Christian and professing the Catholic faith]; this decree did not reach yet the grass root level. There are still large number of people especially in the Philippines who do not know or does not want to recognize the Orthodox as one with the One Holy Apostolic and Catholic Church founded by our Lord Jesus Christ.
For this reason Mahal na Ingkong showed and manifested himself corporeally to Brother Florentine and declared that through him the New Jerusalem will spring on earth from heaven - and that is the Church - the genuine reflection of the Jerusalem in heaven.
Since the Church was divided because of the issue(s) about the Holy Spirit; the Holy Spirit Himself comes through the agency of John Florentine and his mother and He spoke about Himself and His teachings, doctrine and messages. And He inspired John Florentine to take bold steps to validly form His Church and His Congregation, the Order of the Missionaries of the Holy Spirit. From this point it is clear that the purpose of the founding of the Church is to continue and perpetuate the mission of "uniting all things in Christ", the unity of the Eastern and the Western Catholic Rites.
There are some sealed servants and excommunicated OMHS clergies self-founded their own community or church and formulated their own doctrines about Mahal na Ingkong, St.Maria Virginia and Mama Mary.
It seems that they do not realize that the purpose of the coming and manifestation of Mahal na Ingkong is to unite all the churches and not to dismember or divide it. With what they do how they can unite the Eastern and the Western churches? Where do they stand about this issue? How can they make the unity of all in heaven and on earth under Christ? How can they fulfill the prayers of our Lord Jesus in Gethsemani "that they all may be ONE"?
How can they unite all the Christians with their teaching that the Blessed Virgin Mary, mother of Jesus Christ is God? That the Holy Spirit and Virgin Mary is ONE and the same? This is not the teaching of the Church in her more than two thousand year history. And neither Mahal na Ingkong either thru the lips of St.Maria Virginia or the Patriarch ever spoke of such teachings.
They taught that the Blessed Virgin Mary is GOD or the Feminine Power of GOD. This teaching comes from Pagan origin that teaches about GOD THE FATHER (the SKY) AND GOD THE MOTHER (Earth). And this doctrine leads to the Worship of Mary as God - Mariolatry. I will not wonder if they will call the blessed Virgin Mary and Venus as one, or Persephone, or Hecate or the Earth. This are/is the witches Goddess and certainly not the Catholic and Orthodox Christian Mary.
The Bible is clear that our Blessed Virgin Mary is 'BLESSED AMONG ALL WOMEN" and nowhere you can read in the Bible that She is God. Thus the teaching that Mary is God is unbiblical and against the official teachings of the whole Church and of her more than two thousand year history and tradition. Yes, the bible mentions of some qualities of God which is that of the woman for one good reason- that was to bring the abstract doctrine of God into something that our feeble and limited mind can understand and comprehend.
Mary is called mother of God not by her nature but by her dignity and honor. Thus, the analogy "if the son is goat then it follows that he was born of a goat". A tree is known by its fruit thus if the fruit is mango so the tree is mango. This analogy applies if we are talking about "NATURE".
Let us say that the Blessed Virgin Mary is the Throne of God which I believe you will agree with me and as Throne She is there with God from eternity.Even if the Throne exist from eternity to eternity the throne which is Mary cannot be God.
And how they can sanctify the sealed servants and the people who believes in Mahal na Ingkong and Sta Maria Virginia, if they were cut off from the TREE i.e. the Church; through the sacraments if their ordination or consecration came from separated bishops of the Roman Church who do not believe in Mahal na Ingkong and of Sta Maria Virginia?
SIDE ISSUE:
Now, it is common that those who separated themselves from the Church and the Patriarch will speak all things negative about money and financial things of the Patriarch and the Church. Tell me of any organization who is not using any form of money or resources. Who does not spend anything?
I do not see anything wrong if the Patriarch is teaching and pressing the people to engage into honest business. He is teaching and developing resourcefulness and self reliance among the sealed servants. His approach is wholistic. He is concern not only of the spiritual need of His people but also of their temporal needs. He is providing opportunities for all sealed servants to improve their conditions, spiritually, psychologically and materially. He desire to inculcate to the faithful that what Mahal na Ingkong require of us is a faith that is ACTIVE PARTICIPATION and not a faith that is PASSIVE SUBMISSION. We are empowered by the holy spirit that was sealed in us and this empowerment must be used for the benefits of all - spiritually and materially.
Salvation is not only of the soul or spirit but also of the flesh from day to day thirst for clean water, hunger for food, and other necessities for the survival of the earthly life.
